Sow the Wind, Reap the Whirlwind
This was my first novel, published back in 2004.
Now it’s been updated and expanded for this 2023 Second Edition.
Synopsis:
It’s 1975.
Peter Broussard drove from California to Birmingham, Alabama for a new job. He wants to make a difference in the lives of others, but also hopes the cross-country move gives him distance from his troubled past.
He finds a different culture than expected: blatant bigotry, internal power struggles, the privilege of wealth, outdated traditions, obstinate bureaucracy, illegal drug use, child abuse, and plenty of sexual secrets.
And that’s just in the Southern Baptist Church where he’s now the youth minister.

Enjoy.
If you purchase and read the entire book, I hope you’ll consider leaving a positive review on Amazon. (Is FIVE stars asking too much?)
