Sow the Wind, Reap the Whirlwind A novel by Bill Prickett Peter Brossard wants to make a difference in his new job. He also hopes the cross-country move will give him a renewed sense of purpose and peace from his troubled past. What he finds is social indifference, blatant bigotry, internal power struggles, child abuse, amorous advances from his beautiful next-door neighbor, unrequited love, illegal drug use, an unpopular friendship and a bounty of sexual secrets. It's certainly not what he expected when he took the position as Youth Minister at a prestigious Southern Baptist Church in an affluent suburb outside Birmingham, Alabama.
